Oh my word, 2012 went so quickly and here we are at 2013!

I hope that you have all had a wonderful Christmas Holiday and have been enjoying the festivities that the season brings.

I love looking at crafty blogs for inspiration and have several favourites. I just adore Jenny Moors work and style. Please have a look at her blog for totally awesome inspiration. Way before I decided to sign up as an Independent Demonstrator with Stampin' Up! i was totally hooked on Jennys blog and had purchased some of her stamp classes by email.

First craft club meeting!

This evening was fun at North Romford Community Association with my first craft club. We made several cards using Real Red, Old Olive card stock and inks along with the fabulous ornament stamps and framelits! We will be using them again next month, probably also Polar Party stamp set. I do love those cheeky penguins!!! One of the cards we made was based on a swing card, but with added dimension! Will try and do a tutorial for it in the coming weeks. It looks a very simple card, but it is definitely one of those that makes you say' oh so that's how you did it' lol

Taking the plunge!

Hello, have finally decided to take the plunge and become an Independent Stampin Up Demonstrator! After months of ooohing and aahing over the glorious products in the new catalogues, I just 'had' to do it! We have really been spoiled with the new bumper Idea and Catalogue and the Autumn /Winter mini. All in the name of research(ahem), I've been playing with the Ornament set and recreating the fabulous design on the front of the mini and hope to post some pictures in the next few days!

Memories of a lovely day

Oh boy what a difference with today's weather. It was beautiful yesterday !
I made this card a few months ago for my daughter and son-in-laws 1st wedding anniversary. Quite simple to do, using a few Stampin up! Punches but looks quite elegant.

Hopefully will manage to put a few photos of cards that I've recently made! Being a bit of a technophobe, this could take a while!!!

Where has the time gone!!

Some times lifes events just 'take over' and before you know it 10 months later, my second blog  happening!
A lot has been happening, some good, some not so good, but its best to focus on the good! My daughters beautiful wedding, weekend in Devon, Holiday in Cornwall,a trip to the theatre (Blood Brothers is fantastic!), precious time with family and friends.
Finally plucked up the courage to delve into the depths of digital crafting, Oh boy, it's great to have instant downloads to play with. If you are having any doubts, have a go. You just may be pleasantly surprised!
